The Cancer Risk Assessment & Prevention Program was developed for individuals who have concerns for developing breast, gastrointestinal and ovarian cancers. The program offers a comprehensive evaluation of cancer risk, discussion of available clinical trials and recommendations for care.
Medical oncologists, surgeons specializing in breast, gastrointestinal and ovarian cancers and a genetic counselor specially trained in cancer genetics will provide individualized family history analysis, risk assessment, counseling and screening recommendations and discuss enrollment in clinical trials focused on cancer prevention.
By knowing your risk, the right measures can be taken to reduce it. Not only will you receive the education and counseling you need, you'll have access to clinical trials at Loyola University Health System (Loyola).
