Peripheral vascular surgeons at Loyola University Health System (Loyola) offer evaluation and treatment of visceral arteriosclerosis and intestinal angina; renal arteriosclerosis with hypertension and/or renal failure; aortoiliac femoral arteriosclerosis in patients with intermittent claudication and aortic aneurysm. In addition, they treat extracranial cerebrovascular disease, including stroke, transient ischemic attacks and carotid stenosis. Also treated are venous insufficiency, ischemic rest pain and gangrene. This practice has extensive experience with patients who have complications of previous vascular surgery or trauma.
