Pediatric pulmonologists at Loyola diagnose and treat lung diseases, including cystic fibrosis, recurrent pneumonia and bronchopulmonary dysplasia. Also addressed are chronic cough, respiratory problems of children with multiple disabilities and pediatric sleep apnea. Diagnostic procedures include bronchoscopy, sleep studies, pulmonary function testing and sweat tests.

Cystic Fibrosis Program
Loyola's pediatric cystic fibrosis center is staffed by a pediatric pulmonologist, gastroenterologist, cystic fibrosis nurse, nutritionist and a respiratory therapist. Consultations are slao available for other pediatric subspecialty services. Our center is accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The clinic also offers a state-of-the-art sweat test and pulmonary function testing.
