About Our Specialists
The Loyola sports medicine team includes fellowship-trained sports medicine orthopaedic surgeons and primary care and family practice physicians, licensed physical therapists, advanced practice nurses, physician assistants and certified athletic trainers.
As members of the Stritch School of Medicine faculty, our physicians are nationally and internationally acclaimed academic leaders in sports medicine education and research. As nationally recognized leaders in the research of injury prevention, Loyola Sports Medicine physicians consult athletes on their risk factors and perform motion analysis for young competitors, adult weekend athletes as well as professionals.
We serve as team physicians and have expertise in a wide spectrum of sports, including basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, hockey, gymnastics and running. Sharing our knowledge through special programs, we help athletes learn how to excel without risking injury.
