For older women nutrition, exercise, regular medical examinations, tests and screenings are very important.

In particular, we are concerned about your overall well-being and strength. That is why we will ask many questions, and we will keep an eye on your bones, your heart and your adjustment to the changes of life.

During your doctor's appointment, your Loyola doctor will address these concerns:

  • Cardiac screening for women with risk factors
  • Colonoscopy

  • Pap smear
  • Clinical breast exam (annual)
  • Mammography: annual screenings
  • Thyroid disease and cancer checks: signs and symptoms should be assessed and tested as needed
