Dr. Patrick Stiff, director of Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, with WJOL radio

Dr. Patrick Stiff is director of Loyola's Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, which has treated more than 3,000 patients with stem cell transplants from bone marrow and umbilical cord blood.

His special interests include ovarian cancer, leukemia, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and bone marrow transplants. He has always been keenly interested in research, and those discoveries are quickly translated from clinical trials to patient care. He talks about how at Loyola our medical care is more patient-centered than at other institutions.
