Susan casually mentioned a lump to her doctor and soon the whirlwind of cancer began. She went through her tests and during the sonogram understood that the lymph nodes were affected.

It was an overwhelming moment. But her oncologist explained every next step and was very positive about her treatment options. She then met with her team of oncologists and she asked every question on her mind. She felt at ease despite undergoing an experience she never wanted to have.

Susan is healthy now and gives her doctors a hug whenever she comes in for a checkup. "They're like family," Susan said of her doctors.
