MAYWOOD, Ill. -- On Aug. 1, physicians and services of the Loyola Center for Health at Darien are moving to the new Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge.
Relocating to Burr Ridge will give patients access to more than 20 specialties, expanded imaging and lab testing and complete rehabilitation services.
The services relocating from the Darien center are adolescent medicine, internal medicine/pediatrics, pediatric urology and psychiatry.
The Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge is the largest academic medical center outpatient facility in the Chicago suburbs. It includes primary care; rehabilitation services; specialty care, such as orthopaedics and neurology; and an Immediate Care center, where a patient can see a physician with no appointment and minimal waiting for such conditions as an ankle sprain or the flu.
Parking is free. There's Wi-Fi throughout the 100,000-square-foot building, an optical shop and hearing center and a café serving baked goods, sandwiches and gourmet coffee.
Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge is located at 6800 N. Frontage Rd., just off County Line Road and the Stevenson and Tri-State expressways. It is convenient to other Loyola outpatient centers in Hickory Hills, Homer Glen, Oakbrook Terrace and Wheaton.
