The Loyola Children's Center at Maybrook Court is sponsoring a Health & Back-to-School Fair.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 6 at the Fourth District Municipal Court, 1500 Maybrook Drive, Maywood.
Children and their families will receive immunizations and free health screenings such as blood pressure readings and blood sugar and cholesterol checks from Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing students, Loyola University Hospital physicians and Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine students.
The event will also feature information from social service agencies and community-based providers. School supplies will be provided for free to underserved children who attend. The Loyola Children's Center at Maybrook Court is a partnership between The Ronald McDonald ® Children's Hospital of Loyola University Medical Center, the Circuit Court of Cook County and Cook County.
