Maywood -- Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine is celebrating 100 years of leading-edge research, education and caring for patients that began in 1909 after Loyola University saw a need for a school that offered a strong Catholic medical education.
The weekend-long event will include an open house and campus tour, history wall dedication, class reunions, refreshments and a gala celebration at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers.
The event takes place Friday, Sept. 26 and Saturday, Sept. 27 at Stritch School of Medicine, on the campus of Loyola University Medical Center, 2160 S. First Ave., Maywood. That gala takes place Saturday evening at Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, 301 East North Water St., Chicago.
