Biography
Dr. LoSavio is a board certified gastroenterologist. She completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of Chicago and has been an assistant professor of medicine at Loyola since 2007. Dr. LoSavio's clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), women's gastrointestinal health, and pelvic floor disorders including difficult defecation and fecal incontinence. Dr. LoSavio is also the program director for Loyola's GI fellowship and is conducting clinical research in the areas of inflammatory bowel disease and microscopic colitis.
