Title
RTOG 0413 NSABP B-39 A Randomized Phase III Study of Conventional Whole Breast Radiation vs. Partial Breast Radiation for Women with Stage 0, I or II Breast Cancer
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to see if partial breast irradiation is as good as or better than whole breast irradiation in keeping cancer from coming back in the breast.
Eligibility
Patients must have ductal carcinoma insitu or invasive adenocarcinoma of the breast. Patients must be 18 years or older. Patients must have stage 0, I or II breast cancer
