Loyola Medicine CEO Named to Becker’s List of “100 Academic Medical Center CEOs to Know”
Loyola Medicine President and CEO Shawn P. Vincent has been named to the 2020 Becker’s Hospital Review list of “100 academic medical center CEOs to know.”
The list highlights 100 executives who lead academic medical centers and health systems throughout the country. These leaders are responsible for large, often multisite institutions that provide cutting-edge technology and clinical trials. Members of this list do not pay and cannot pay for inclusion.
Mr. Vincent joined Loyola in 2018 from Augusta University Health, where he served as chief operating officer. He served in the United States Marine Corps and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
He is an executive fellow of the Advisory Board Company on Healthcare in Washington, D.C. and serves on the Illinois Health & Hospital Association's (IHA) Board of Trustees.
He also is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and has held leadership positions in the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association Heart Ball and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
