About
Dr. Badami grew up in Michigan and received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. She then relocated to Chicago and completed her residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her Hematology/Oncology fellowship was completed at Loyola University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Fellow during her final year of training. During her training she developed an interest in GU malignancies and sarcoma as well an interest in clinical trials. She is passionate about providing state-of-the-art cancer care and utilizing the latest advances in treatment including immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and hormone therapy. Dr. Badami also offers the opportunity to enroll in national clinical trials through affiliations with NCI-sponsored research organizations such as Alliance and SWOG.
