Pediatric Cancer Patient Gives Back

Twelve-year-old Andrew was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS), a soft tissue cancer, in 2016 and again in 2018. Andrew's grandmother brought him to Loyola Medicine, where he was put under the care of pediatric oncologist Eugene Suh, MD. In 2019, Andrew gave back to Loyola when his neighbor Aly's college soccer team held a fundraiser in his honor. Andrew generously chose to donate the money for items for the pediatric playroom.
