Anesthesiology Fellowship
The practice of medicine is based on a singular goal — the relief of pain and suffering.
Anesthesiology is the specialty most directly concerned with that goal. It is a practice that is both old and new, combining traditional methods with new developments. The Loyola concept is to provide a dynamic clinical environment in which current advances are regularly integrated into a program committed to excellent clinical care.
The Department of Anesthesiology of Loyola University Chicago believes that the best care always considers patient comfort and emotional support as well as current technology. These values have been a part of the residency program since its inception in 1971. It strives to train clinicians of the highest order and to develop in them a lifelong commitment to professional growth.
The Anesthesiology Fellowship program offers two specialty fellowship programs: the Adult Cardiovascular Thoracic Fellowship program and the Pain Management Fellowship program.
