Nina Clark, MD

Nina Clark.

Dr. Clark is the Director of the Infectious Diseases Division and interim Co-Director of Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine’s Infectious Disease and Immunology Research Institute.  She trained in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the University of Michigan where she did basic science research in retroviral infections and was active in the UM HIV program.  She directs the Transplant Infectious Diseases Program at Loyola and oversees Loyola’s Ryan White grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration which provides resources for the care of persons with HIV/AIDS.  Her current research efforts include multicenter trials of novel antimicrobials and investigator-initiated studies of infections in transplant recipients.
