Firm System
Residents are divided into five firms, consisting of residents of all different levels. These residents share ambulatory weeks at the same time and rotation schedule changes together. This system fosters community and relationship building within the residency and creates an environment where senior residents can build mentorship relationships with interns in their firms. In addition to developing camaraderie while caring for patients in hospital and ambulatory settings, numerous events outside the medical center also foster friendships among peers and faculty alike. Several events have become annual traditions.
