MAYWOOD, IL – Eight Loyola Medicine physicians have been named to Chicago magazine's 2019 list of "Chicago's Top Doctors for Women."
The list is published in the June/July issue of the magazine.
Physicians on the list "have been chosen by their peers as the best in the area for treating female-focused issues," the magazine said.
The list was compiled by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., a healthcare research and information company. Castle Connolly's online nomination process is open to all licensed physicians in the United States. Physicians are able to nominate doctors in any specialty in any part of the country, and indicate whether the nominated doctors are among the best in their region or the country in their specialty.
Each physician's educational and professional experience is carefully screened before the final selection is made. Doctors cannot pay to be selected.
"Being listed among Chicago's Top Doctors for Women is a recognition of the compassionate, uncompromising and high quality care these Loyola Medicine physicians provide for their patients every day," said Tad A. Gomez, RPh, MS, FASHP, president of Loyola University Medical Center.
