Exceptional doctor and human being. I so glad that our insurance has Loyola doctors on the preferred list thanks to Aetna and Trinity.

Always takes the time to listen and answer questions.

Dr. Michelfelder has been my PCP since 2005. I have nothing but the highest regard for him. He’s brilliant, he keeps up with the latest research, he’s integrative in his approach. He listens to me and we collaborate on a course of action for my optimal health. He’s compassionate.

Outstanding provider. Loyola is fortunate to have him as their provider.

The doctor is intelligent, compassionate, thoughtful and clearly concerned about the patient's needs.

I would rate amount of time spent with me as “very good if Trinity didn’t require its doctors to shoehorn patients into time slots that aren’t long enough. I know that my doctor has no control over that.

11/29/2023

I suffer from barometric pressure headaches, which at times have been debilitating. During this visit, I asked Dr. Michelfelder to perform Acupuncture, and I haven’t had a headache since despite the almost daily elevated barometric pressure. I am so grateful to him for sharing his gift with me.

11/18/2023

I am eager to work with this provider to improve my health

10/30/2023

He treats my mind, body, and spirit.

10/27/2023

It’s not the doctor’s fault he can’t spend more time with each patient. Trinity ought to stop shoe-horning patients into 20 minute slots. Change the system!

10/14/2023

He is a nice person besides being a great doctor.

09/17/2023

I wish the “system allowed longer appointments. 20 minutes is hardly adequate. Dr. Michelfelder does an excellent job of managing our appointment time, but it would be great to not have the pressure of time constraints to this extent.

08/27/2023

Was well prepared with a list of issues to discuss

07/28/2023

He has been my primary care physician for 20 years. I trust him.
