The doctor was amazing. He listens well and engages with complexities in ways that are both respectful and understandable. He asked good questions and showed genuine care. He was honest about issues both medical and logistical as well as willing to discuss what could be done to address such issues whenever possible. I felt seen and respected and like an actual partner in making care decisions.
