About

I am a medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of lung cancers and head and neck cancers. My research interests include early stage lung cancer, early detection of lung cancer, and mechanisms for enhancing enrollment in oncology clinical trials. I am the clinical director of our Lung Cancer Screening Program, which is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of colleagues from medical oncology, pulmonary medicine, radiology, and thoracic surgery. Together we work to ensure that patients with a high-risk smoking history have access to low-dose CT scans for early detection of lung cancers, as well as expert care for diagnosed lung cancers and other incidental findings. I am passionate about delivering high-quality and compassionate care. I consider it a privilege and daily challenge to help my patients to heal and to have the best quality of life possible.
