About

Dr. Violari is a board-certified interventional radiologist. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Athens, in Greece. She then completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in interventional oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City followed by a general surgery internship at the University of Maryland. She completed her residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Connecticut where she served as chief resident. She then further subspecialized in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the Baptist Health, Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. Subsequently, she completed a second fellowship in Pediatric Radiology with a focus on pediatric interventional radiology at Stanford University.

Dr. Violari has a broad range of clinical interests and expertise in both adult and pediatric interventions, including interventional oncology (locoregional therapies for cancer such as radioembolization, chemoembolization and ablations), women's health (minimally invasive treatment options for uterine fibroids and pelvic congestion syndrome), portal hypertension, vascular malformations and deep venous disease. Dr. Violari has a passion for medical education and is a strong patient advocate.
