Again - i think the insurance driven abbreviated exam protocols result in less thorough physicals/exams.

As this was a new patient visit (because I have been seeing a gastroenterologist for my routine lab work the past 4 years and was told I could not schedule an overdose mammogram unless a physician ordered it), I expected a more thorough exam. I did not need a thorough exam, just expected it. I am sure Dr. Rice had access to, and reviewed, my over ten year medical history at Loyola. All of my questions were were answered and my concerns were addressed.

I was examined as soon as I got there and found out I has a broken collarbone
Dr. Jason Rice is an excellent doctor and I'm so glad he's my primary care physician. However, the staff at the La Grange clinic is pretty bad overall. Most of them, and especially those at the front desk, do not provide good customer service. When I go for a monthly shot, I often have to wait quite a while for someone to show up at the front desk to wait on me. Then I have to wait a long time just to get a shot that I need every month. The nurses that gives me the shot is frustrated by the poor service and communications up front, too. They keep telling me that it shouldn't have to run about an hour for me to come in for a shot that doesn't involve seeing the doctor. I like Dr. Rice a lot but otherwise, I wish I could go someplace else for service.
Dr. Rice always has time to answer all questions I might have.

He was excellent! I was a little nervous when he was running late, but once I met him, it was wonderful! He took the time to answer all of my questions, provided me with helpful solutions, and took the time to listen to me. It made me feel like he cared about my concerns. 10/10 will go back to him.
