About

Karen Kiley APRN received her B.S. (Biology) from Loyola University in 1991 and B.S. (Nursing) from Rush University in 1992. She began her nursing career as a staff nurse on the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Loyola in 1993. During this time, she continued Master's Nursing coursework at Rush University with a focus on the onoclogy nursing clinical nurse specialist tract, completing her degree in 1996. She was hired as an advanced practice nurse for the Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Loyola in 1996, currently continuing this position. She completed the Post Masters' audlt nurse practitioner program at Loyola in 2007 with subsequent ANCC board certification. Her current position involves the care of the bone marrow transplant patient in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
