How to Apply
Applications are accepted through ERAS. All applications are reviewed, and initial invitations for interviews are sent via email in September. Interviews will start in mid-October and go through December. In addition to the application, we require the following:
- Dean's letter
- Letters of recommendation (3), chair letter is not mandatory
- Personal statement
- CV
- Transcript
- USMLE I and II or COMLEX
- Passing USMLE II scores are not required prior to invitation to interview, but are required prior to acceptance into the program
For applicants requiring a visa, our institution only sponsors J-1 visas.

Additionally, through the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Loyola Medicine, fourth-year medical students can apply for the opportunity to rotate in the Health Equity and Diversity Visiting Clerkship to participate in the care of medically complex patients from a diversity of socioeconomic and racial backgrounds. Accepted applicants will be awarded a $3,000 stipend to cover the costs of the rotation at the student's discretion.
