Conferences & Lectures

There is a monthly educational and academic schedule that affords residents additional educational experiences, in addition to dedicated self-study time. Resources and educational materials are provided to enhance the training experience.

Each month, residents will participate in a journal club, attending lectures, resident case reviews, indications conference and independent study. Skills workshops, cadaveric labs and sawbone workshops are offered throughout the year, in additional to quarterly resident challenges.

All residents participate in continuing education through participation in ResEd Summit, Midwest Podiatry Conference and the Illinois Podiatric Medical Conference.

Graduating seniors participate in the Annual Senior These Day within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation, and present their required research project.
