Loyola’s Emergency Department receives some of the region's most critically ill and injured patients—in fact, the severity level of our emergency admissions is among the highest in the country. Our trauma center has the highest designation possible in Illinois and specializes in the resuscitation and care of adult and pediatric patients with multiple injuries. Our emergency medicine services combine advanced treatment and patient monitoring with the expertise of highly trained emergency medicine professionals.
Location
The Emergency Department is located on the north end of the Loyola University Medical Center campus. Use Entrance 1 from First Avenue, then drive north and west to reach the Emergency Department entrance.
