Loyola Medicine Transport

Non-emergency Transportation for Loyola Medicine Patients

If you need medical transportation to one of our hospitals, doctor's offices, health clinics or treatment centers, Loyola Medicine Transport is available to take you there and back. The patient-centered service offers transportation to and from Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, our many outpatient locations or your home by medical van or ambulance, while providing the level of care you expect from Loyola Medicine.

With a fleet of 25 vehicles, including 13 ambulances, Loyola Medicine Transport provides basic and advanced life support and accommodates patients in wheelchairs. Medi-ride, our medical van service, transports patients who do not need an ambulance. In addition, Loyola Medicine Transport's courier service delivers pharmaceuticals, lab samples and medical documents.

Patients may be picked up from home, a nursing care facility or one of our locations. The service also transports patients being transferred from another hospital or our hospital patients who are ready to transfer to a nursing care facility or rehabilitation hospital.
