- Epilepsy monitoring unit — Loyola’s unit is equipped with continuous electroencephalogram (EEG) and video monitoring and staffed by certified technologists and trained neurology nurses who have earned Magnet status. Loyola’s epileptologists have completed a specialized epilepsy fellowship or are board-certified neurologists with secondary board certification in clinical neurophysiology. Your epilepsy team will design a medical action plan to reduce or eliminate your child’s seizures.
- Pediatric neurosurgery — If surgery is recommended as part of your child’s treatment, Loyola Medicine’s nationally renowned pediatric neurosurgery team offers a complete range of integrated services to treat conditions that require neurosurgery, such as brain disorders and spinal disorders.
