• Epilepsy monitoring unit — Loyola’s unit is equipped with continuous electroencephalogram (EEG) and video monitoring and staffed by certified technologists and trained neurology nurses who have earned Magnet status. Loyola’s epileptologists have completed a specialized epilepsy fellowship or are board-certified neurologists with secondary board certification in clinical neurophysiology. Your epilepsy team will design a medical action plan to reduce or eliminate your child’s seizures.
   
• Pediatric neurosurgery — If surgery is recommended as part of your child’s treatment, Loyola Medicine’s nationally renowned pediatric neurosurgery team offers a complete range of integrated services to treat conditions that require neurosurgery, such as brain disorders and spinal disorders. Our team at the Loyola Medicine Children's Hospial has decades of experience helping children and their families feel more comfortable when facing major surgery for brain tumors and a wide spectrum of other conditions.
