Why Loyola: Loyola is a work-hard, surgically heavy program that I know will help me toward my goal of becoming the best surgeon and clinician that I can be. Our residents treat each other like family and our attendings are devoted to our learning. On top of that, Chicago is a fantastic place to live.
Fun Fact: I once worked as an oyster farmer.

Why Loyola: The first text I received from a co-resident after matching at Loyola ended with "welcome to the family." They truly meant it. I never knew that a group of residents/faculty could be so close, friendly, funny, and supportive as they are here.
