Generous friends of Loyola Medicine, Geralyn and Thomas Donovan, established the Geralyn and Thomas Donovan Primary Care and Population Health Fund. The Donovans appreciate that Loyola Medicine provides outstanding care to all patients – from annual well visits to the most complex and acute health conditions – onsite at our hospitals and outpatient clinics and within the various communities we serve. As longstanding Loyola patients grateful for their own care, the Donovans recently chose to give back by honoring Keith Veselik, MD, one of their favorite physicians who also serves as Regional Vice President of Population Health. Geralyn and Tom's generosity helps Loyola provide comprehensive care to all, promoting the health and well-being of our entire community, with an emphasis on making “house calls” to those in underserved communities.
The Donovans have also supported priorities throughout Loyola including state-of-the-art audio-visual technology to facilitate training pulmonology residents across multiple sites during real-time operating procedures. Their ongoing kindness plays a key role in ensuring Loyola meets the wide range of needs of our patients while delivering excellent care, medical education, and research
