Burn Community Support
With one of the busiest burn centers in the Midwest, Loyola Medicine's specialists have vast experience providing medical and surgical treatments for burns and trauma.
However, for many, healing after a burn injury can be a lifelong journey, which does not need to be faced alone. Loyola Medicine proudly partners with the Phoenix Society to provide ongoing to support to burn survivors, their families and healthcare professionals.
Phoenix Society World Burn Congress
The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors is the leading national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering anyone affected by a burn injury. Each year, the World Burn Congress, which is the world's largest gathering of the burn community, connects attendees with support, resources, and each other.
For many, it is the first chance to connect with others on the journey of recovery from a burn injury. This year’s conference is October 2-5, 2019 at the Hilton Anaheim and Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
