Convenient, State-of-the-art Facilities
Loyola Medicine’s dedicated Center for Metabolic Surgery and Bariatric Care offers state-of-the-art care in a welcoming environment. We offer a free-standing building on our Melrose Park campus, dedicated exclusively to patients in our medical and surgical weight loss programs.
Our building is designed expressly for your safety and comfort and provides the convenience you need for your outpatient visits, including your preliminary and follow-up visits with your weight loss doctor.
Our stand-alone facility is located at 719 North Ave. in Melrose Park, conveniently situated next to the Gottlieb Center for Fitness. To reach our facility, you enter the Gottlieb Memorial Hospital campus off North and Seventh Avenues and then follow the signs for “Loyola Weight Management Clinic.”
Surgical Procedures
Our bariatric surgical procedures are performed in an operating suite specifically designed for our bariatric patients at Loyola’s main hospital on our Maywood campus. Our state-of-the-art hospital is located at 2160 S. 1st Avenue.
Weight Loss Information Seminars
Whether you are ready to join a Loyola weight loss program now or are unsure of your path, our free informational seminars will help educate you and answer many of your questions about bariatric surgery. In-person seminars are held several times a month at the Metabolic Surgery & Bariatric Care Center, located at 701 W. North Ave, Melrose Park.

Support Groups
Support groups are a crucial part of our program's aftercare. Designed as a means to provide you with the tools you need to assist with and maintain weight loss as well as overcome challenges, our support groups are conveniently located at the Center for Metabolic Surgery & Bariatric Care at 701 W.
